For more than 40 years I have practiced law in the areas of wills,
trusts, probate and elder law, bringing a wealth of
practical and professional experience to my work with clients, their families, their
trustees, and their executors.
As a solo practitioner I provided personalized service to my clients in
the SF Bay Area for many years, and in 2005 I moved to Grass Valley
where I now live and work. I look
forward to serving my local community for years to come.
I
have been designated a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust,
and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal
Specialization. My law degree was earned at Boalt Hall, University of
California at Berkeley. I have taught at the Golden Gate School of Law
in San Francisco, authored a chapter in the first and second editions of
"California
Elder Law: An Advocate's Guide " published
by the Continuing Education of the Bar, and have been a frequent public
speaker before numerous community organizations.
Working with clients to help them solve their legal problems in the
simplest and most effective way possible is my primary goal. I take the
time to listen carefully to your concerns and discover how best to meet
your needs. For clients who have difficulty getting out, or who simply
prefer the comfort of their own surroundings, I am happy to meet with
you in your home or elsewhere.
